Hi. I'm putting a CB550 front end on my CB350. The CB550 forks are about an inch longer than the CB350. Am I able to get new fork tubes that are shortened by an inch and still have all the clearance/motion I need? One of my tubes is shot and I'll be getting replacements anyhow (and new springs t boot). Most of my bike is three hours away from me, so I'd hope to hear if anyone has already run into this problem.
