Hello All,
My name is Phil, I currently live in Tennessee with my fiance (wedding is slated for October 7 2017). I have worked as an auto body tech since I was the age of 13. And have recently taken a job tearing cars apart for a large salvage parts supplier in my region.
I've built one other motorcycle but it was a "lets make it cheap and and roadworthy on a Mac and cheese budget
2013 Honda cbr500r that I picked up wrecked for $350 and tried to make into a "street fighter"
Fast forward to yesterday I walked into one of my customers shops on a normal business call and notice a dusty two wheeled heap. I inquire as to what it is doing there and what the plan was for it. The shop owner proceeds to tell me that his son bought it on a road trip a few years back and has never even tried to do anything with it he then asks if I'd like to take it home for a small fee, I offer $75 and he tells me to load her up.
Once I get it home a few simple sprays of starting fluid tells me all I need to know as she purrs to life for a few brief moments.
I know it's a road of many twists and turns ahead for myself and this GN400 cafe/brat project but I know with the help of this group we shall overcome this rusty hill.
Figured I'd toss in the CBR just for fun.
