Timing a 350F

So the manual says align the "T" 1.4 on the spark advance with the matching mark.....
Here is my question, the "T" and the 1.4 are in two totally different spots....which one is right?

It's the hash mark by the T -- the 1-4 is just to show you which cylinders are firing.

I thought so...the t was top dead center and the 1.4 wasnt...

Timing is same on all the Honda 4's from back then (same points plate and points, get electronic on it) I've got a couple of 350f motors but haven't looked at them for ? years although the head nuts should be same as on 400f? As far as I remember you must have shorter ones next to the spark plug or you can't get a socket on plug
