Replaced Headlight Switch Help

I'm completely useless when it comes to electrical, and after looking at the wiring diagram I still am confused. My question is, if I cut off the existing headlight switch (4 wires including the horn wire) will the bike still run/start? Or is there something soldered/connected to one of those 4 wires that will prevent the bike from running. It sort of looks like the coil is soldered at some point in the line after the horn.

The bike should still run, yes, but make sure you cap the wires off so that you don't cause a short circuit and blow your main fuse.
