what options do i have? the smaller and more discrete the better. oh yeah, what's the minimum we need on the road? just one on the left right?

Just one on the left. I think the tiny tiny small italian round ones are nice but not time-period correct if you wanna go the 60's cafe racer style.
I just always go with these:

thanks locoleon. i just got back from CWW and they had a few to choose from. dang, those rizomas from italy are sick but they cost 150 bucks! the ones you have on ebay are like the emgo ones that we can get here for 15 bucks too. then i saw another similar one with smaller rounder mirrors. and another one with an even smaller round mirror that just mounts on the end of the bar. kewl options.

and yeah, all we need is one left side mirror and it can be any size, just found out. .... now, i just gotta make up my mind...
 
I like these, small, easily flipped out of the way. There was a guy at Richmond Hill in the parking lot last year, cafe'd CB450 if I recall, had these on his bike. Looked great

Napoleon's look great. The only thing I found was getting them adjusted just right so they didn't interfere with the levers and didn't stick out too far on either side.
 
yes, saw those at CWW, goin for 120 CAN and with that, might as well pay the extra 30 for the beautifully engineered Rizomas.

Hey Noel - these would work on your clipons - clamp onto the bars vs. shoved inside.

yeah those are sweet, but if they didn't work with your bar, there's a separate piece that goes inside the bar for you to mount the mirror on. sold separately in that catalogue i saw (see pic with it mounted on the bar closely).

the 2nd ebay item that jim posted is nice considering it looksimple and comes as a pair.
 
ehhh.. Im just gonna mount a bicycle helmet mirror to my helmet, just like those tour deFrance riders have on their helmet..
It will keep my bike looking nice and lean...

way ahead of you homes, i already have heads up display set up IN MY GOOGLES hooked up to a pin hole camera attached to the tip of my tail light! lol!
 
Screw optical - I have radar. Mounted a fish-finder on the tail of my bike. Bigger the fish, bigger the car.

That would solve the brake light issue of another thread, he could just yell at cars to stop.

...and plate bracket... he could just flip the bord at speed trap cameras!

Maybe that's why Jesse James really hangs with BodyDrop ;D
 
I have a cellphone mounted on the back of my helmet sending me streaming video from the camera through the TELUS EVDO wireless network to my Treo mounted on my bars. This sits beside the 2nd Treo on my bars running TomTom to tell me where I am. The third Treo has its camera facing forward.

I don't look up - like playing a video game, and TELUS share value goes up every minute I ride :)
 
i have laser sighted guns with motion detection attached to either side of my bike, anything comes with in the range of my blindspot get's shot . . . period! . . . the bar end mirrors was just so i can see the action.
