Having this lump soda blasted tomorrow for the brat build, here's the before pics will post the afters shortly, hopefully see some improvement in the barrels.
... here's the after pics, very pleased with the results the blaster said soda wouldn't remove rust or any imperfections in the metal, to do that you'd have to go more abrasive with the risk of internal damage.
Had to give it a hose down after and will need to polish the cases and re-paint the crank case but I'm happy to leave the head as it it's.
I used www.enviroblastuk.com if anyone in the Herts / Essex area is looking for a soda blaster, only charged me £40.
