1980 CM200t, This is the perfect bike for Rach. electric start, nice seat. Best of all...Its gorgeous, Purrs like a kitten, Rides and Runs like new. Runs almost silent. Ive never heard any bike so quiet.
11k miles on her. Tires 1yr old, He sprayed fenders black when he changed tires. Paint on tank and covers is original. New seat. Dude has owned and ridden it 3 years.
He "thinks" he remembers putting Penzoil in it. : Last year. I shot a vid of starting her and riding. But it might be too dark. I will check into posting them tonight.
Fantastic! They ARE quiet arent they? And a pleasure to ride! That bike is going to draw some major attention wherever it goes. I kinda like the black fenders.

They are great little motors, particularly after Honda fitted single carb and limited RPM.
The original design 125 with twin carbs and 11,500rpm redline used to destroy left side big end if oil level was allowed to get even slightly low
They make real nice base for customs (as long as you want a mini chopper)
hmmm, maybe her second first bike, making the CL my first second bike.
LOVING ME SOME CL.
If I could study some motorcycle trailer hitches...I could make a small aluminum trailer for deer hunting w the CL.
Carry the musket in and draggin the deers out! Load them on a trailer on head home.
Would need to locate much more aggresive knobby tires though...Wondering how she would look decked out in camo.
OK I HAD big plans to dig into the 200 this weekend. Just normal tune up stuff. adj chain, fork oil, check air filter etc.
But NOOO!
The dang Giant sunroof on the old ladys Subaru leaked rain water in when we picked up the 200. I hit the button to make sure it was closed properly. and....its also JAMMED. Motor tries but roof wont budge. Some reported it cost them $1100.00 bucks at Subaru dealer. SHIT! After some more reading on the internet, I feel confident I can fix this. Could just be sticky, hard grease built up. and maybe clogged drain tubes...fingers crossed.
So, got bikes arranged as tight as I can in hopes to get the car in and remove the sunroof and see whats going on.
Now just waiting for her to get home from Grocery shopping.
Step 1: remove sunroof following procedures outlined in the repair manual
Step 2: very carefully, drive a ford of your choosing directly underneath of it.
I'm just kidding, I drive an 09 legacy and love it to bits. Never had an issue with the sunroof. Then again, I never open it for fear of aggrevating the seals and causing a leak.
