Cb750 wheels identification

Coast to Coast
When I bought my 750k4 a few years back the seller threw in an extra set of rims that are in good condition. I'm getting to the point where I'm either going to sell them or rebuild them. I believe he said they came of a 750A but I can't be sure of that. Can anyone help id them and if they are 750A wheels what would need to be done to use them on a 74 750k?

They're Hondamatic 750A. I'm not sure you'll have to do anything to run them. GL rims work as well, but GL have dual disc up front and you have to respoke the rear with a 750k hub. I've never done it with Hondamatic rims, so I'm guessing. Measuring the axle size and rotor size should confirm. Worst case scenario, you get new spokes and lace your K hubs to the A rims.

Yeah, those are OEM wheels off an early CB750A "Hondamatic"

Both are 100% bolt on and go.
Nice part is you get alloy hoops.
17 rear is kinda meh though as I dont think you have the best tire options (assuming performance is the goal)

As stated the GL1000 (early years) have a VERY similar front wheel, but it has a dual disk.
Rear is not an option due to the shaft drive.

Rear isn't a problem with 17" rim for performance tyre, front is the issue as modern 'superbikes' use 17" front and rear (just stick a tube in a tubeless tyre and reduce speed rating 1 lower)
