Hi all, Id just like to check what im about to order will work.

1970 cb350 stock front and rear.

I plan to relace the front rim to a wm2 1.85x18 36. thus running 1.85 front and rear.

I then plan to fit Dunlop K82's, These tires come in sizes 2.75" up 4.60"

Id like to go with 3.25 front and rear. will this fit with my standard setup.

Thanks

I went 2.15 mikesX's $90 rims front and rear. This size is the best and biggest for traction and still allows the use of stock spokes. Grab a spoke wrench, new rim strips, and new tubes while your at it.

If your lucky you can reuse your spokes if they don't snap and break while disassembly due to 40 years of rust. Soak in vinegar and scrub surface rust on. Then soak in a oil. Then use a good anti seize when putting it all back together. If you feel rich then buy some new nickel or stainless spokes. I painted my oem spokes black and was able to use my oem spokes and It turned out good. Wider, and black rims are one of my favorite upgrades now. The tires love to be spread out now.

I went 90 front and 110 rear on my last wheel build. 100 rear would be better for traction though. It's just preference for all these details.

Front 2.15 rim with metzler 90f tire. You really might as well go 2.15 vs the 1.85 if your doing it. Same price I believe. And better cornering and look too.
