Steel wheels vs aluminum

I'm rebuilding a 78 cb750 and would like a little feedback in regards to replacing the wheels. I'm going to powder coat and install new spokes so it would be the time to replace them but it would also be nice to spend the money on something else. Other than the obvious reduction in weight what would be the benefit of aluminum wheels?

Resale.

If you are building it to keep. Keep your original wheels.

Cool factor and they just work a lot better.
