Number plate headlight ideas?

This isn't really a "build" thread, but I figured if it has been done it would be documented in this sub-forum somewhere.

Thinking about doing some type of number plate headlight on an upcoming project. Old school, square-ish type plate.
I have an old headlight bucket I could use behind it to hide some wires if needed. I also have a set of Cree lights/fog lamps that are dual output. These could be used behind the plate, under it, etc.
Or, I could start completely fresh with a different (slimmer) LED or other type of spot light?

Basically, show me your number plate headlight, what light(s) you used, how you mounted it all, etc.

I haven't made it that far yet, but planning to do something similar to this layout. Maybe use a 1/4" carbon fiber plate if I'm feeling real frisky

This one started out as a stock 8 x 11" race background that I cut and then bent with a little heat and a couple of blocks of wood. The lights are a pair of cheap fog lamps on a custom mount. Not ideal for fast road work at night but almost adequate for the purpose.

I used an LED projector from ebay, machined off the "halo" and used an aluminum numberplate. Made my own mount, the light is attached to the lower triple.

CB750s have a few good options on the top clamp if you can get creative with some L brackets
