I also had make up a custom kick starter to clear the new rear sets, which involved welding a CB550 to a CB200 Splined Knuckle,

I cut down a CB200 kick starter arm, lined it up with the 550, hit it with a blow torch to get it red hot then mig welded it. Its come out well after cleaning it up and seems to be lasting!
