CB 360 project

Hi there,

New to the forum but have lurked for a while. I'm looking for a small CB project bike and San Francisco is crazy when it comes to prices for these. That said, here is one that is not ridiculous in price (relatively speaking): https://sfbay.craigslist.org/sfc/mcy/6068229847.html

Is it crazy to spend this kind of money on a small 40 year old motorcycle? What would you gals/guys do if you were in my situation? It's not exactly cost efficient to buy and ship a bike sight unseen.

That is a lot for a salvage titled bike.
Here, I would guess it would be 1/2 the cost. But if you watch the market in your area and they are really selling for that, then why not. You would be able to resell it.

I bought a one with a title a few years ago for $400 with title not knowing if it ran or not because I know I can find a parts bike for next to nothing and chances are, as long as it hasn't sat out in the elements, the motor will still be good and is easy to swap out.
