Charles Owen Bowbilt. I haven't managed to find out much about this one. Leather lined, UK built, quite a cool lid

Moto Star - New Zealand made 1980's MX. Interesting to note the way it is made, with the chin riveted to an open face helmet shell

Iv got the bell bullitt- definitely the best looking to me. Scored mine for $100 off since it had a scratch on the back of it... took me a minute to even find the scratch when i got it.
Feels awesome- lightweight, comfortable, and doesnt make you look like a bobble head.
Once you figure out how to get it on and off its not painful but your ears take a beating at first.
I had the flat visor and the reviews did not lie about the whistling- it will drive you insane if you ride with it open.
I havent heard of any problems with the bubble visor but i just removed mine- looks much better to me and no whistling.

I definitely recommend it if you can get a deal!
looks bitchin and comfortable when riding.

Good to know, I might have to pick one up. Ive got a bell revolver and there is a ton of wind noise.

you need to be wearing earplugs, with any helmet, if you ride at normal speeds..... unless you don't care about going def
the exception would be a quiet touring bike with a huge windscreen

A race compatriot of mine died after he crashed wearing one of those. A hard part of the bike speared through between the two sections from the rear and did a lot of damage from which he did not recover.

Buy a new helmet and forget all those old "cool" relics. They are OK on a shelf or for taking stationary pictures, but not so good as protection.
