"The Orphan" XS500 '76 (98.2%done)

I got it road approved on monday 8), been tinkering with the mufflers and fixed a vac leak at the carb boots. Also added the original forkbrace/fenderbracket with a extra bracket i had to fab due to the bigger front tire, i could feel the difference instantly lol. The front tire is really heavy, so when i go faster than 30-40MPH i can really feel the gyro effect going strong.
And i need some oil in my forks. If you read some of the first posts, you know i chose to take the chance with those. lol typical. Not a problem at all tho, easy fix.

Other than that it runs pretty good, it still has a stumble from idle if i crack the throttle way open. it goes clean off idle otherwise.
Main jet is 126 (iirc)
Pilot jet is stock (cant remember #)
Needle in 2. clip from bottom.
Foam filters with internal tube/ poormans velocity stack.

Shorty mufflers with HEBO baffle wool.

I will probably make some more small tweaks untill i sell it. Maybe the color matched grips and tool bag too if i can find something cheap but cool.
