Hey fellow builders/riders. I'm currently riding a 1985 Kawasaki GPz 550, and working on a 1986 (I think) Suzuki GR650. I was going to build the GPz into a scrambler, but it really hasn't lent itself to the task. It seems to want to stay on the street and go fast.
The Suzuki seems to want to be scrambled for a few reasons... It's a twin, the motor turns slower (and is hopefully torque-ier), it has a dual mass flywheel...oh, and I got it for free, so I won't mind beating it up on the trails as much (yep, I mean to actually use it as a scrambler).
I'm located in NW Washington State in a town called Rockport. Anyone else out this way?
