1973 suzuki GT185K

this has been sitting in my garage for a number of years. mechanic whom has my engine has been M.I.A for 4+ years. He vanished, his ex-wife is of course zero help (he could possibly be overseas, military)

so anywho, i've checked all the local stockyards and ebay but cannot find an engine for this puppy. any ideas?

Hope i dont bring you down but, that could be a tough engine to find, you dont see many.

oh believe me i know this lol. it might be a lost cause but i'm still hopeful
