The "whale tail" on my rat rod '79 CB750F has been patched/doctored with over 3 pounds of Bondo. Looks awful and is falling apart (Bondo does not adhere well to ABS). I'd like to find a tail that is all there - doesn't matter if it is busted up since this is not a pretty project and I've had go9d luck gluing ABS, but need all of the pieces. So, if you've had an uh-oh and busted yours or maybe pulled it to mount up a cool cafe/brat/tracker saddle.... why let the old one hang on the wall gathering dust?

Never mind. I've struck out three times on this and don't want to pursue it any longer. I'll build up a replacement with broken ABS pieces and ABS cement.

East Tennessee What I really need is the part that goes under the cowl that the Honda logo goes on. I have the top "whale tail" part.

Ah I’m in the UK!

Postage might be a bitch!

Yes it would. Since this is a "rat bike", I will gather brokem ABS bits and glue something up to go under the whale tail that I have. ABS plumbing cement works great on them.
