WHO Everyone is welcome. Ride your bike out or drive your hot rod. Show people your bike goes further than the local Starbucks parking lot. Douchebags will not be tolerated, if you think this might be you, don't come.
WHAT It's simple. Come on out, eat some food, get ripped (thanks to Hobgoblin Ale for the kegs!) and hang out in the woods all night with a bunch of dudes (any maybe some ladies too). Spend the night, wake up Sunday morning and swim away your hangover in the beautiful spring fed quarry and do some cliff diving.
WHEN Saturday, June 19th - Sunday, June 20th 2010
WHERE We will be setting up a couple hour ride out to the Quarry from somewhere, likely the Waffle House on Rt. 18 in Medina, Ohio. You can also meet up any time at the Quarry, we will have some signs for you to follow to our camp and the group ride should show up by mid-afternoon.
HOW Get that junker running and bring what you need, we will have some food and beer, but bring a tent and be self sufficient, we want to have fun too.
Nelson's Ledges Quarry is privately owned, and we can party and be left alone and no one cares that there is a bunch of shady looking dudes riding in on choppers. There are a few campground rules though, and they are as follows:
* Everyone signs a waiver when they enter the campground
* No glass (they may check coolers, etc when you enter)
* No riding around on your bike in the campground, and once you come in, you can't go out
* No dogs allowed
* Don't screw with the hippies, we want to do this again this fall
