CB360 bottom case seal questions.

After a long hiatus I tore back into my CB360 project. I pulled the bottom case to replace the kickstart shaft and I'm in the shop now ready to go back together. I've never been into a motorcycle case before. I have hondabond. Do I put a thin layer on both sides before I put it together? There was hondabond Also in the case groves of each bearing half. How do I get it in there? I also put new seals in. No hondabond there correct?

You only need Hondabond where the cases come together. It won't hurt to put it where the bearings are for the crank for example, but there's oil on both sides of the bearing, so it really won't matter.

I found a video yesterday on a cb350 that showed me enough. Pretty simple deal really. I removed the oil filter and clutch to make things easier.
