yamaha 74 TX500A

Mornin' guys. i found this site from a link on caferacer.com. i used to be into newer crotch rockets but my body just couldn't handle the riding position. i have recently become interested in the cafe style. i found a local 74 TX500A for sale and thought i would ask the guys that would know. you. what can you tell me abou this bike?

Make sure the cylinder head is not leaking oil. these bikes are prone to cracking heads..

Are there any front ends from newer bikes that fit, bigger engines, wheels that use tubeless tires? are there any other common problems besides cracking heads?
