Hello from Kansas City. I recently purchased two 1975 XS500c, one runs and ride decently but is getting a ground up rebuild into a cafe racer. The other is a parts bike that I will more than likely be selling before long. A good friend of mine owns a motorcycle shop and will be building it for me. He has built several show quality cafe's in the past, but this will be his first yamaha (and a rare one at that). We have been looking at this site for awhile now learning as much as we can. Currently we are trying to get the bike running like a top.. On order right now is VM32 carbs, new electronic ignition. We are planning to hide the battery and all wires in the tail section, new gauges, new rearset setup.. just for starters. I will have pics up soon..
