1974 CB360 T?

Excuse the newb - but I am trying to make sense of my bike's year. It is a CB360 with a date on the frame of 1974, but it has front disc brakes. Does the date mark the production year or the release year?

Or should I just assume someone just added the disc to the front at some point?

The '74 with front disc is the CB 360G, the T designation went from '75-'76.
