Super awesome helmet! Looks like a really early model...Probably not the safest helmet. But the cool-factor, though...

Man, that thing is ugly. If it came with a provenance, it might be an interesting personal museum piece I guess.

One would hope, but if that's true then the way the OP edited the post to include "probably not the safest helmet" should be taken as what, a sarcastic afterthought? The responsible thing would be to cut the chin strap, but maybe that ruins the cool factor.
