Long time lurker from North TX checking in!

I have been riding for 6 years and have enjoyed every second of it.

..a little bit of my riding history...

My first bike was a 2007 Triumph Bonneville black, I then moved on to a 2014 Triumph Street Triple R. The STR was too sporty for my insurance company so I sold that bike and went on the hunt for a older bike to rebuild. My father-in-law had a 1975 BMW R90/6 that was built(dual plug, electronic ignition, custom paint, luftmeister fairing, etc) by the famous Perry Bushong in the late 70's and was put in a shed in 1987.

I managed to air up the tires and get the bike around to the garage to start tearing it down. I changed out the pushrod seals, headgaskets, rebuilt the old garbage bing carbs, added Enduralast charging and ignition system and the bike fired right up.

The bike now is torn down and awaiting a few things
to include

GSXR front end swap
motogadget m unit blue
m switch minis'
chronoclassic tachometer
jw speaker 8690M headlight
cognito moto front hub
excel rims
brembo front brake calipers and master cylinder

I will move this into a build thread soon.

Thanks again for all of the great information I have come across and I hope to contribute as much information as I have taken!

Taylor
