I stumbled across a R69S today in the middle of nowhere podunk Arkansas. Decent shape cosmetically. Tank is perfect, no dents. Decent paint job. Has the Earles front end. The guy took the pistons out of it when he parked it, needs new pistons, and a hone.
He's asking $3K on it if anyone is interested. I'd be happy to go pick it up, and deal directly with an interested party. I'm not much in to the BMW's, but there won't be a buyer around here, and I'd hate to see it wither away in a garage. It'd taking some lovin' to get it back to pristine, but they're a solid $10K bike when done.
