What did you build this week?

Thanks for the well wishes. My fingers were rebuilt today.

There is some wire in my ring finger to hold it all in place and shape. The white ball on the end is connected to it.

That looks much better than the previous pix! Should we nominate your doc for Build Of The Month? Best of luck to you, sir, hope everything heals up quickly and properly.

No build thread, doesn't count :p

Glad to hear they got ya self contained again. Sending good mojo your way for a speedy recovery.

holy steaming crap, that is not a good thing at all. makes my broken middle finger look kind of pathetic (still hasn't healed two and a half months later, shitting me up the wall) hope the repair process goes good
shame you didn't have the good sense to do it at work
at least you can hold a beer in the other hand
oh yeah, good luck learning how to wipe your arse with your left hand......

I won this helmet a few years back in a raffle at Meltdown, but I didn't wear it much because of fit and design. So, a little work on the liner and fresh paint take it from this...

I'm riding my airhead in this year's DGR, so I figured I'd run a BMW inspired lid.

Fabbed up a quick and jakey hammock stand that fits in the reciever hitch on the silver-ay-do. Gonna give hammock camping a try at barber this year.

Yep, I need to build one for my truck before Barber now.

now IF you had some rings in the ends of the uprights or the hammock holds were eye ends and you had

40 odd feet of surgical rubber

some ballons

and some water

it could be multiuse and hilarious

How are you gonna rescue E's elsie with that rig attached?
I think Ephraim finally got smart enough not to bring the elsie ha. And even if so, I'll pull one pin and take it out.

It's high enough off the ground to be thoroughly frightening to get in, yet surprising comfortable once you do.

Still gotta figure out a tarp/ rain fly, but that should be simple enough
