Hi Guys,
I’m sure you are aware of the Ryca café racer kit for the Suzuki Savage 650 single. Did you know they also make parts for a street tracker? I have built one using their up pipe and fiberglass seat. The rest I fabbed on my own.
The Ryca kits use rear sets for the foot controls. I thought that the foot pegs should be under the engine on a tracker, not behind it. I used a Yamaha Enduro foot peg assembly and welded tabs under the engine for mounting. This let me use a direct connection shifter without any monkey motion linkage.
I modified a Gs450 tank with a deeper tunnel so that it would sit lower on the frame.
Here’s the completed bike. More info to come.
