75th Sturgis Anyone?

I know the Sturgis Bike Rally is primarily a Harley/Indian/Big Cruiser type event. I was wondering if any from this crowd were planning on going?

I booked my room for next year already, August 3-9, and the closest I could get for reasonable money was 100 miles away. Everything within 50 miles is booked solid or at least $500 a night for a room that would otherwise only be maybe $100.

The only thing that would make me want to go is if there was a large DTT contingent meeting there.

It has to start somewhere! Two guys can turn into fifty.

Honestly, I'm not real big into the whole nigh time party scene. I want to see the bikes, maybe a few of the activities, but mainly do some rides such Mt Rushmore and the Crazy Horse memorial, etc.

And most of all, it's the journey. It's a 3000 mile round trip through some incredible country. I wanna do it while I still can.
