Thought about doing this while we were camping this summer. It’s mainly for the grandkids, but I wanted to ride too.
Guess I could have got a used CT70 or ?, and fixed it up, but wanted something from my past. When I was 10; mini bikes were the rage. We didn’t have the money and my mom was dead set against it. My brother & I would sneak around the block and bum rides from friends.
A few pointers that I kept in mind while building this.
- had to be small enough for my 6yr old grandson
- something in the 3-4hp range
- frame had to be from materials in the shop
