Happy Kings Day!

It's not bad on the parade routes in NOLA, it's the French Quarter (specifically Bourbon St.) that gets risqué.
I'm actually in Metairie (a suburb), and the parades here have been dubbed "Family Gras". They don't tolerate much foolishness.

I got invited to drive a (decommissioned) Fire Truck in one of the upcoming St. Patricks parades. It'll be full of drunkin Irishman too :p

I had to pass. Ended up with the flu all last week, and spent St. Paddy's Day crawling from the bed to the bathroom and back :(

Major bummer! Lots of folks crawl on St. Paddy's Day, but usually for different reasons. Hope you are better now.
