Have been digging through the archives of Bultaco history and forums. So my M51 has the same close ratio gearing as the Bandido. Zeke’s M70 has a wide ratio gear box.

May have found out why I have a B61 Bandido frame...supposedly the M51 has the engine shifted 70mm to the rear which gave it a light front end. The B61 frame fixed this or it could just be Spanish steel.

Going to bore out the Chinese CRF50 rotor and taper tonight to make it lighter. Lol Zeke was telling me my rotor was too small and that I wouldn’t have any torque. I said, “that’s what your momma said and you turned out ok.

The Bultaco TSS 350, Bandido, and Montadero share the same all metal clutch plates. They have metal dimples that eventually wear off.

How critical is dwell time on a Hall effects sensor like on the Dyna S? Can we install a magnet on an aluminum collar. Slide the collar over the crank and space the dyna s to accommodate the collar and magnet.

On a 160 Honda, we just machine the stock DYNA S rotor to fit over the crank end. You could also machine one from scratch and us the magnet from the Dyna rotor. It doesn't take much heat to eject the magnet. Then epoxy it into your new rotor
