Finding a W650 in the states?

So how much of a task is this? Im just casually interested, think this is such a cool bike. Ive done some casual searching online and doesnt seem like there are a lot of these on the market! anyone have one?

Getting more difficult each year. Was only available in Canada for 2 years and Kawi didn't sell many. I see one parked in my neighbourhood occasionally.

My boss had one here in Texas. He put all the bolt on cafe accouterments on it, then sold it on ebay when he got a Bimmer, so they are out there. I had never heard of such a thing till he told me about his. From the pics I saw, it was a nice looking bike, someone on here actually had one of his ebay pics as their avatar for a short while.

They're out there, but not many. Get on the Yahoo W650 Group and let them know you're looking. Casual browsing may not find one, but maybe one will fall into your lap. I think prices have evened off (or maybe dropped a percent?) $3500 to $5K depending on condition.

They are dandy bikes, I must say.
