Hi all,
Im new to DTT and am happy to join as i start working more on my second old honda twin
I have come to the phase of removing the headers/muffler and being that they are seized together I am trying to slide it out as one unit.
I wanted to see if anyone else has experience with this. The pipe obviously come out of the engine at opposite angles and although I can get them out an inch i feel like if i pull much harder I could damage something. Does anyone have experience with removing it as a unit or am I going to have to chop this pipe.
There is an incredible amount of rust at the junction of the pipes and separating them is a 'pipe' dream
