1972 CL350 "Scrambler" project

It is pretty big. I've still got to move it around and add a fender and whatnot, so I still have hopes it'll look ok (the picture is mocked up with everything hanging by strings and such haha). If worst comes to worst I'll just mount the projector between the forks and have a tiny headlight haha.

It does run now though, and I took it around the block a few times. The front is a little twitchy without a fender/fork brace. Anyone know of an easy fork brace I can purchase for this bike? I might do an enduro type high fender to make the plate look less awkward but want to keep the forks from twisting.

Green :D

it's just a sherwin williams "premium" base with economy fc710 clear. I did 5 coats of clear in case we want to colorsand it... there is a bit of dust that needs to come out. Marco's color choice was spot on though. With the black graphics it will rule

It's been a while, but I haven't really made much progress :-\

I moved away to start a new career, and all that sort of thing has been taking up my time. The bike is ride-able again though, and I've been having fun in the mountains of Tennessee with it even in its unfinished condition.

During the 7-hour ride from Raleigh, NC to Knoxville, TN:

Safe in the new garage with a new friend!

I need to finish cleaning up the wiring, finish the front plate, and do tank vinyls. I sort of want to re-do the seat too.

Hey what about chrome and black vinyl on the tank? When you come down for Eurobike I'll get a nice side shot of the tank and we can draw and cut something up.

I suppose I never updated this. The bike is more done now (there are little things I'd like to do, but I've moved on to other projects).
