gs750 oil in the air filter pods

just got the bike it a trade i got 300 into it .it seems like all cylinders have comp it runs decent but i know it can run better but my issue is that there is oil coming into the air pod im personally not a big fan of them i know they are a bitch to tune the crbs for but i need help with my issue im thinking rings and seal but no signs of oil leakage from the engine itself
 
Maybe the PO oiled the pods? Or is it gas?


GS vents the crankcase at the top of the cam cover - where has this been routed to?
 
If it's engine oil then either the rings or valve stems seals (and guides) are really shot, but more likely that the previous owner oiled them, which is what your supposed to do with them

Good point, could be blowing oil out the breather
