What are you going to use for the sound proof compressor box?

hey, this will be under the av cabinet in the corner, all the external walls will have sound deading in them, I will then be lining the inside of the area for the compressor with 12mm plywood and then sound deading foam(like a recording studio), It will have to have a small port for air intake, so i'm sure that it wont be 100% sound proof but very quiet none the less.

Re: Workshop Layout Plan

NICE! I like it, thanks for your input! you have it mostly right, this workshop is attached to the back of another garage the same size and shape (just rotated to the left) that garage will only have 1 car in it with a bbq and lawnmower for company, so plenty of space for bikes. the work platform has wheels on it to move it about, the workbench on the smallest wall it to be a reinforced steel topped job with a vice attached. I have a double stacked (12 draw) tool chest on wheels set up so i can move all hand tools to where im working, im sure theres more......... ;D

Re: Workshop Layout Plan

Like how it's laid out. Tough to do with a tri-angle shape. Noticed the bold outline of BEER at least you got your priorities right. ;)

Yeah it's a shame about the shape, it being so big makes up for it though ;)

Re: Workshop, last of the tools acquired..

Nice, once you use one of those it is very hard to go back to just a framing hammer, they make work so much quicker, yes you still need to pound the occasional nail but lay up a wall and walk along and nail it up in no time. Congrats

Re: Workshop, Today's efforts

so one down, only 3 more to go

Thanks Fox, this is all me  however the wife keeps me loaded up with sandwiches for lunch ;D and if I need a hand to lift something too heavy my neighbours are good for it. ;)
