Kawasaki 7 bolt Rotor Suggestions

I hope to fit a set of KZ1000 P wheels to a cafe racer build I am working on ( http://www.dotheton.com/forum/index.php?topic=75591.0).
The wheels are on the way to me but do not have rotors.
The current GPZ900 rotors are 280mm outer diameter and 130mm inner diameter with 6 bolts.
The KZ1000 P rotors are 300mm outer diameter and 130mm inner diameter with 7 bolts from what I can see online.

My question is can anyone recommend similar sized brake disc (270-280mm outer and 130mm inner) which are 7 hole and might fit on? This would mean no modifications to the current calliper setup.

whats the bolt hole circumference? both of these are 280 OD 130 ID

VN1500 rotors have the same PCD and are also available in a full floating arrangement. I ran them (many years ago) on my Z1000J and they worked to my full satisfaction together with a set of Nissin twin-pot sliding calipers.

I had looked at those and wondered about the inner diameter. If they are 130mm they will be perfect 8)

Don't suppose you have any photos of this setup?

pretty sure the disks I posted are vulcan 1500 disks

That's pretty cool @der_nanno!

I think I have now sorted which discs I need for both the front and back from MetalGear. I will report my findings once I receive both the wheels and discs and have had time to fit.

EX500 rotors have the same dim as the one's der_nanno posted. I use them to convert CB360 front rotors, because they match the 360's PCD dim.

Collected the wheels over the weekend. Turns out the inner diameter of the disc required is actually gonna be 168mm, not 130mm as I initially thought for the front wheels. :(

The wheels are really nice though so will make it all work somehow. There was no offset on on either the GPZ900 or the KZ1000 discs so all I might need to do is make a bracket to allow for 300mm discs as opposed to the 280mm which were on the GPZ so that I can still use the forks and callipers.

you could trim the kz disks down. whats the swept area on both?

Turning modern disc's to smaller diameter is possible but way more difficult than the old thick rotors.. It's much easier to grind them to size, 36 grit to get close then whatever to get a decent finis. I would move the calipers though, it's way easier to cut brackets from steel or alloy than modify discs

I'll need to check the swept area later this eve. All I would need to do it trip 10mm off the discs (20mm needs to come off the total diameter) which might not be to difficult for an engineers. Interesting idea. ;)
