130/70-18 on a 2.15 rim?

What brand, just go to the manufactures site, they list the min and max rim width for each size. if 2.15 is in the range, you are golden

From Avon site for roadrunner AM26:
Tire Size speed Rec Rim Min max
AM26 130/70V18 63V MT3.50 3.00 - 4.00

I wouldn't do it.

Yeah, I put all avon's data into a spreadsheet and I agree. I was mistaken about tje actual size of the 130/70.

I'm floored that not one company on the planet sells a new 2.5 or 3.0 35h-18 in orange. Moose makes the closest with a 2.15.

I either re-evaluate my colour choices or give up on tire size.

I know 120/90 is the max on a rear 2.15 18 rim. So dropping down to a 70 should work no?

The second number is the aspect ratio (IE: height) of the tyre. Changing that doesn't affect the width of the tyre or make it fit better on a smaller rim.

Duh.

But a lower profile reduces squirm. I'm after profile, not width.

Get a 3" rim and either have it powder coated or anodising removed then re-anodised the colour you want.
