What does everyone do for their "real" job?

Electronics Technician for the USPS. I work on the sorting machines that tear your favorite porn mags to shit.

My dad' an AMT here in Oregon. He gets to do some of that stuff, too. :)

I am a bit of a mixed bag when it comes to self employment. I am an artist/designer primarily. I do a lot of album cover art for bands. But I have had my hands in the bike business for years. as a painter and hobbyist builder. I also work for a few big conglomerate guitar companies, painting their instruments. I am also a luthier and build about 30 custom instruments a year. I also play lead guitar in a band called, Lords of Distortion. I stay pretty busy. :)

Through out the years I have done some work for some very well known clients. Here is some eye candy.

Wow, old thread dug up. Cool.

Left the tool and die industry a few years back to become a full time adult movie star. I only work on films with a budget of less than $500 so it keeps things interesting. Pays the bills most weeks.

Hahaha. I just saw this.

I'm a teacher and professor, although the professor thing will stop to coach football and baseball full time. Then there is the art thing, which I do the rest of the time, when bikes don't get in the way. Then there is the thousand other things to pay for my habits, like the exterior restoration on a Chicago-style bungalow in Columbia, SC ie. How I Spent My Summer Vacation...

Next month my job description is changing from teaching biology at a university to a towing/wrecker service in Louisana...go figure...
I used to drive a Chevy C60 combo truck (sling and wheel lift) many moons ago in the NOLA area. There's plenty of mental midgets behind the wheels around here to keep one busy ;)

Hopefully with today's climate this is okay....NYPD come from a family of police officers and teachers, currently in the lower east side (east village, alphabet city)of Manhattan. Love the job but currently open to a few options, one of them is finally finishing up my helicopter pilots licence and move into the aviation division of the police department, I'm also on the list for the FDNY and will probably be called for their December academy, or finally move down to Austin Texas and get a job with their department. Lots to think about!

Thankless job, isn't it? Everybody wants to complain about the police, yet they are the first phone call when something is wrong. Takes a hell of a person to put up with all that nonsense.

It's a shame, too. I for one give any cop who still goes to work everyday a lot of praise. I couldn't do it, there's so much hate for the police and they are under the microscope for every move they make. They deserve better for the job they do, keeping the peace and cleaning up

As for me, I drive truck.
