Zombie Survival guide
Wold War Z
Day by Day Armageddon

I have my location all staked out, there's a microwave relay station in the hills near here, up on Skyline for you locals that'll serve quite well. It's surrounded by the typical 14' concertina fence.....that's oddly on isolators though there aren't any electricity warnings....it'd be easy to set up. I've been in the facility before, it's got it's own water system and there's a spring on the grounds. It's situated on teh peak of the local 'hills' so you have a good 360* view, especially from the tower. It's a sturdy concrete building with steel doors, bars on the glass etc. Best, it's a multi-bay garage on site....so I can build my post-apocalyptic zombie hunter's survival bike. Firepower is no problem, I've been....umm.....preparing for the problem for a long time. Lots of ammo too. Food will be an initial worry but it occurs that once the horde is on the move it'll be down to looting and I have more guns. Lots of room for a garden on site. I'd hit the vitamin shop on the way outta town for essentials like protein powders and various sundry needs there, a pharmacy or two for other needs. I make my own wine, but I'd probably visit a liquor store on the way too. Yeah...I'm good when the time comes.......

and it will....damned zombies.......

Rosie O and Burt Reynolds zombies....I got something for ya..

Sounds like an excellent location, but you will need a small battalion of folks that you trust. Zombies attack in hordes, even with a good vantage point you will need more than one scope/barrel to take out the undead.

A good friend of mine just finished the post-production on his zombie movie "The Dead Walk." I think it is premiering at the end of March. It will be on the festival circuit.

Agreed. I have 5 or 6 trusted friends that are "on the list" and PLENTY of room for 6-8 more. If any DTT folk find themselves in the Portland area when the horde breaks free from the secret underground gov't compound and you have ammo and or other resources to add to the stockpile I'll find room for you.

here are some pics from the mr and mrs undead in Brighton. We do like to relax in brighton and be our natural selves as often as possible. Some are from a quiet night down the pub ;D

brighton??? mass?

Guess I need to get my hands on a copy of the survival guide. Currently my plan involves my small arsenal hitting some vital "supply" stores on the way out of town and holding up in the Mtns in my back yard. Somewhere far from a population. Now I think I may have some more thinking to do. :-\

Oooh, we should put together a DTT Left For Dead 2 shoot-m-up event.

+1 if i can get my online working correctly. i pick up my neighbors wirless, the other nigh xbox live was working great, and ever since its not connecting. maybe hes busy downloading porn.

I talked to my G/F about this and she lives to far away for me to effectively rescue her. While its only 15 miles there is only main road to get there and in the event of an aapocolypse, it will surely be blocked by refuse, the undead, etc... So, after saying my good byes I would procede to fight off the hoard with something along these lines

haha. I just knew this was a zombie-type crowd.

i'm just hoping they invent the lightsaber by the time the virus gets loose. vooom.

you would have to make some major decisions. are you just going to hole up until the undead are wiped out and then what? are you going to try to solve the problem? if you survive are you going to restart civilization? if you are you will need certain 'supplies' for that(i.e 28 Days Later).

once it goes downits all over man. no restarting anything. laws of the jungle. build walls. get yourself a means of protection. fuck the world. sounds wrong, but its the way itll be. society as we know it will be a thing of the past. no more tv, radio, grocery stores, malls, gasoline (eventually). start reading up on how the american indians lived. its all over once the virus spreads. if your not willing to put a bullet in your kid if need be, put one in yourself before you end up getting someone else killed. there will be no more world. just what you see in front of you, and what you can carry on your back.

oh yeah 'the world' as we know will be done. but if you have no plan beyond survival, what are you surviving for? unless you are just a hyper sadistic misanthropic sociopath

HA! I dont mean that theres nothing to live for. You can have a small "tribe". But society is a gonner. Find the ones you trust and keep everyone else FAR away.

It took days for New Orleans to get like that.
