Cute kitty.

All I got was a datalogger and it's just a simple little black box about the size of a matchbox. Not exciting to look at but it won't be seen, so I guess that doesn't much matter. Now I need to work out how to wire it up and interpret the data.

Tomorrow we are told to expect 8-12" of snow so, it will be a while before I get to test it.

It's still pretty damn big but it's DOT and feels really nice on. I'll take a pic of it on me soon.

Nice helmet. Just prchased one of the TORC route 66 after doing the research the same parent company that makes TORC helmets supposedly also is the company that manufacturers for Biltwell and some other companies. I am anxious to get the Torc DOT and see if it fits as similar as the Biltwell DOT versions since it is al manufactureed by said same company.
I agree the DOT sit a little high, But the added security (especially with an open face) is a good thing. I am going to have to get online and order one of the Biltwell bubble shields, Should help cut down the wind noise considerably on longer trips.

Interesting. Yea the shield was cool Had my first ride with it this morning and it actually counteracts the mushroom look quite a bit (not sure how but... it does). The helmet feels really nice. Not too heavy and the padding is very nice.

Outstanding. Just pushed the order button on the bubble visor.

I wish I had gotten the flat silver instead of the move over version I ordered now that i am staring at yours. Found one online for 50 bucks shipped and couldn't pass it up though :D

Congrats on the new purchase!

not as interesting as a mobile stripper pole  but i picked up these zx7 forks yesterday with everything but the top triple (axle not pictured) for $55! wasn't in the market for them, but came across 'em on craigslist and couldn't pass them up!

Good deal on the forks - will likely fit loads of different bikes with new bearings.

I bought the last piece of my welding puzzle - bottle of C25 gas. Not the actual bottle, but hey, you know what they look like. 55 cu ft. - the largest size you can 'own' here. $44 to fill it at Praxair, $160 to buy the bottle. not cheap, but it's a lifetime purchase. Each 'fill' is just an exchange for a different bottle.

Awesome Tim. Makes a MASSIVE difference.

7, I'll give you $75 for them. ;)

I haven't actually fired up my welder yet (too cold out there). I've only done the bit of welding at the class, where we were of course using C25. I'll hopefully never have to bother with flux core. I also got a contact for a 70 year old master welder who offers TIG lessons.... 8)
