Indianapolis wheel threading

Anyone in Indy know where you can get your wheels threaded for a decent price... and what a decent price would be? I want to paint or powder them but I'm not keen on rethreading myself. Something about doing it wrong is scary enough for me to pay a bit.

Thanks
Steve

relace and trued bud... we can do it if you want to ship

Right. Good call, I don't know what I was drinking that day. I'll pm you about the details but I'd still like to drop them off vs ship if possible

Locally I pay $45 per wheel for lacing/truing. That's to a guy who does it in his basement for all the local vintage racers. Find your local vintage racing website and there will be someone on there who does it.

45 per wheel is insane cheap! no idea how he can cover his time for that... we charge $65 per wheel to lace and 65 per wheel to true...

Steve, local you can try Fatty's Cycle in Fortville, IN. Kevin and Matt are awesome bike wrenches. Fortville is just outside of Fishers.

Been a busy few days lately. Thanks for the post, I'll check out Fatty's Cycle. I work on the east side, so it'd be a short run up there and hopefully it'll work out.

thanks again.

You guys are nuts. ;)

I just laced up my two wheels at home (the first two I've ever done). First one took about an hour and a half while I figured things out, but the second one was 30 minutes. I'm gonna true them this weekend and see how that goes.
