Great looking bike. I need to really read through this thread. I just picked up a 79 cb750 limited edition and I've been looking at CRD bikes for inspiration. You nailed it! Hope I can pick up some good pointers from you.

All the photos from the build are in the link 3 posts above this.

Stance is there are thereabouts, maybe another 5mm up on the back. Forks have been lowered 45mm.

Are those the stock rims? I think mine is a 19"??
I like the bars!!

just stumbled upon your build. Bike is beautiful, the next dohc i find for cheap im gona snag up and do the same since my sohc is a single seater and my gf is kinda bummed she can no longer ride with me hah! was the gsxr carb easy to get dialed in?

To be honest, I got lucky. Bought a good set of carbs of a 93 GSXR750 German spec bike. all i needed to change was to drill out the air pilot jet to 0.5mm. You may need to completely rejet with US spec carbs.

love the build! i like the idea of using the gsxr carbs as i have a '80C model myself that i slapped the same tank on with some Mx bars on for now. its just unfortunate that i bought a brand new set of the cb boots, which quite frankly are not that cheap considering they are just rubber...is there any way that the gsxr carbs will fit on the stock boots?

Homemade shock risers

I'm finishing a '80 brat CB 650, and I would need Similar risers for my bike because the back tire is sometimes touching the underside of the seat.
Do you have any drawing of your risers? Is it possible for you to send me these plans?

Your bike is amazing.

Type "Grutefruh" and you will find mine.

Best regards
