hey there! really not quite sure if my bike falls under the fighter catagory, ive seen some similar bikes in this thread. but here it is. My 1980 cb750f.

So here's a photo of my ninja 250 fighter. It's a work in progress but I'm pretty happy with how it's coming along. Still have to finish up the seat cowl and upholster the seat.

What do you guys think?

Cheers man, still need to take off the fairing mounting tabs on the tank as well.

Yep stock headers. The new gen ninjas have a 2 into 1 headers. The reason the exhaust loos good though is my old man works for an engineering/hydraulic company. He got the guys there to make up an elbow to attach the muffler as it has a different diameter to the headers. I think the angle was like 25degrees from memory. It looks much better this way.

Nice job on the seat / tail / side cover set up. Can you detail what you did there??

@ VegasChinois that's a hell of a paint job. The Red on Red looks a lot better than I thought it would!

Wow apologies for the massive delay right now.

If your still wondering,

The side covers are factory, no mods. The seat has been cut and 6 inches removed, then re attached the rear section so the factory tail can still be mounted. Trimmed off the front sections of the tail and re shaped the curve to match the side covers. . Cut the frame off from the bridge where the factory seat would rest on.

And that's basically it.
