haha buy a plane ticket and come see. Na im not that good but next year...

It's almost a tie between the Dremmel Tool and my Harbor Freight 2-ton shop crane. The Dremmel is so versatile and the shop crane allows me to move heavy shit by myself. I'd definitely say that the crane is indispensable.

Thats some nice work! When I had the guy e-mail me paucho quality, and kraftech quality, it was a no-brainer....

You guys are lucky. All I have is a wire feed flux core...

Here's one of my practice pieces.

My little Lincoln for sure. The DeWalt 4.5" angle grinder has seen way too many hours as well.

Same here - but it does the job and I don't really care too much for pretty ;D

But my favourite tools are the cheap ones - like my 20cc syringe brake bleeder, my $3 plastic tube carb synch tool.....and the cup brush on the angle grinder to clean up my shitty welds ::)

Oh yea, that's a great one! I was so pleased with how well the vinyl tube + yardstick + tape + ATF sync tool worked - I was able to balance a late model twin cyl bike so smooth I impressed the dealer techs, and I'm just some monkey with a wrench. Have you (or anyone!) used this on a 4 cylinder bike with success? If so, how did you do it?

I sync'd my inline-4 KZ650 a few years ago with this method. I was too cheap to make a four-way tool so I just sync'd two at a time using the two tubes. Would be best if you used a four-way but it was infinitely smoother after the sync.

Hmm, you could probably sync the three adjustable carbs off the "master" non-adjustable carb - at least, there's a non-adjustable carb on the Keihin PD mechanical carb on the CB650 I'm currently working on. Thanks for the advice!

Yes - the non adjustable carb is the one where the cable is. On a carb bank where the cable is in the middle, you sync carbs 1 and 2, then sync 3 and 4, then sync between 2 and 3 to balance the pairs.
