Music to wrench to

I have my best wrenching days when I'm kicking it old school...

Duran Duran

The Police

The Cars

Men at Work (Colin Hay is a damn genius)

Guided by Voices

Pet Shop Boys

The Cure

Pretty much any 80's alternative channel on XM/Slacker/Pandora, etc.

Hell yeah, I was playing the Cars when I first got my bike running.

My buddy and I usually listen to Creedance and drink cheap beers while we wrench the hog.

This is a very eclectic list hahah

I'm a fan of a bit of everything.

Though, EDM, has a special place in my heart, after doing some festivals, Ultra, EDC, Tomorrowland, Lights All Night, etc.

See them live if you can. They were high in my list of favorites, until I saw them live. Now they may be number one. Amazing show.

I definitely will! Thanks for the heads up.

Good call! I forgot about Black Keys. They always seem to fit well when working on a vintage bike! They have a great retro sound.

Last time I had enough time to listen and wrench, it was:

Patrick Sweany
The Tossers
John Lee Hooker
Young Dubliners
The Pixies
Avett Brothers
Hank Sr.
Blaggards
Led Zeppelin.

Just that kinda mood I guess..

Forgot about the Avett Brothers. Saw them live a couple weeks ago, good show.

They are a good show.
And really good wrench music. Over half the time in my shop it's on avett brothers pandora

I really like working to the Freedom of Choice album by Devo. And their cover of "Working on a Coal Mine" is good for assembly montages.

Wayne Hancock
Big Sandy and his Flyrite boys
Los Straitjackets
Deadbolt
Izzy Cox
Collection of 50's rockabilly - Think Carl Perkins, Eddie Cochran, Buddy Holley and of course Link Wray.
When in the mood for my own past - the Cars, Dire Straits, Devo, B-52's, Blondie...

I like Ministry with the song: Jesus buildt my hotrod to get me started (lost my licence to that song)
And, Pink Floyd , Bad Religion,Nofx,Pennywise etc,and Him among others...
