Welding Help!

I recently picked up an '82 CX500 Custom and have been planning on turning it into a brat tracker. I want to have a slim 2 up seat, similar to MotoMucci's CX, but I have no welding experience/tools necessary for the job. Anyone feeling generous to help this broke college kid out? I can supply beer and pizza and a little cash for your troubles! I'm in Raleigh. Thanks!
