I finally manned up and swapped the ugly, chunky plastic rear fender and the plastic brake light for a handswaged steel mudguard and an aluminium LED rear-light! Also relocated the rear turn signals! Woohoo!
Next up will be the side panels which I will fabricate out of sheet aluminium, a tiny LiFePo battery, relocation of the fuse box, LED turn signals, a smaller, Bates-style headlight (probably with a LED insert) a new seat plate (never laid my hands upon epoxy and glass fibre yet; wish me luck), a way lower dark-brown faux-leather seat.
