What silver paint for 68' CB450 lower Forks?

I'd polish them and then clear. If you're going for accurate, then don't Polish to mirror finish

if you're going to polish them then polish and maintain them. Putting clear over polished alloy is a recipe for scabby looking forks in a couple of years. Laquer or paint needs to be etched onto alloy for the best durability and that causes discoloration of the part.

A mate has just done his blade fork lowers in black plastidip paint and it's given a durable, acceptable finish which stands up well to stone chips. If they do a satin silver version then I would suggest that as a cheap, home gamer solution.

I've used Stainless colored Appliance epoxy for quite a few sets of forks. It looks great and holds up really well once it's cured.
